Vanilla Tea

I'm a sucker for anything vanilla so I was so thrilled when I got this present from my special someone's Mom last October, around the third or second week I guess (You'll get later why I mentioned the date when I got this).

Aside from being a vanilla lover, I am a tea lover as well. I'm more of a tea-person than a coffee-person (I love coffee sometimes too but I just find tea healthier and I don't really get palpitations from it). I learned that tea can be stored for later use as long as you know how to store them properly. Some points I learned are: (1) keep tea bags/leaves in an airtight container, (2) keep them in areas that are not too moist, (3) keep them in containers that light can not penetrate like tin cans or ceramic jars.

Now with these in mind, and because gifts for me are special, I decided to keep my vanilla tea until that special moment where I would crave for one. The moment didn't arrive until the first week of November. It was a cool morning and I had this craving for tea. I had a lovely time drinking this tea while I was reading a book, the book that contains the greatest love story of all time for me because of stories showing me of God's great love for us mankind- the Bible. I spent most of the time just sniffing the sweet vanilla smell coming out from my cup. The moment I poured in hot water so I can let my teabag steep, the sweet aroma came out immediately and you can just imagine how I was having a silly grin on my face because of it's lovely smell. You may say I'm exaggerating but seriously I'm a real sucker for sweet smelling stuff.

Just a tip, for you to enjoy the tea's real flavor, always follow the number of minutes indicated at the back of each bag or you can check this chart out (I got this from this site):
